The Essence of What We Believe

About God

There is only one true God. He is the Creator of the universe and everything within it. God is like no other being. He reveals Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1, 26, 27, 3:22; Psalm 90:2).

About Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who became flesh through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and virgin birth. He lived a sinless life and voluntarily died to atone for the sins of His believers. On the third day, Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, where He continues to intercede on our behalf (Isaiah 9:6-7; Corinthians 15:1-4; Romans 1:3-4 and 4:23-25; Act 1:9-11; John 3:16).

About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. He dwells within Christians from the moment of spiritual birth, providing power for our mission and helping us understand and obey God (Corinthians 3:17; John 14:16; 16:7-13; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:25; Ephesians 5:18).

About the Bible

The Bible is the inspired word of God. It was written by men who were guided by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is without error. It contains everything that has been revealed about God, our history, purpose, and salvation (1 Corinthian 2:13; 2 Timothy 3:16; Peter 1:20-21; Psalms 119:89, Matthew 24:25).

About Salvation

Salvation is offered freely by God to all who accepts Jesus. It is not the result of human goodness or works or religious ritual. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who, by sacrificing his own life, obtained eternal redemption for believers (Romans 5:1-2; Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9:12-22; 1 John 5:4-5).
